We finally have the new and final Star Wars: The Last Jedi
If you haven't watched the trailer yet and want to experience everything when the movie releases, then I advise you to leave this article right away. Director Rian Johnson had also warned fans on Twitter that if you don't want to kill off the surprises, then you should avoid the trailer.
Now that you have been warned, let me tell you that
Moving on, we see Kylo destroying his helmet, which I am assuming will be the last of it as we could see him without it for the rest of the trilogy. I think the last trailer was more around Rey, and I think this trailer is darker and seems more suited around Kylo. He is seen attacking a small Resistance fleet in his Tie Silencer much like Anakin Skywalker from Attack of the Clones. The words "Let the parents die, kill it, if you have to, it's the only way to become you are meant to be" are heard in the background. Will Kylo kill Leia? He did stab his father Han Solo in the last movie, which makes sense that he could be the one who kills his mother. We also see Leia for a moment where it looks that she knows that something dark is coming, maybe sensing Kylo through the force.
Other characters like Chewbacca and the newly added Porg are seen on the Millennium Falcon, we'll see some starfighter action with Poe leading the squadron and finally, Finn will get to go one on one with Captain Phasma. Now that's what I am waiting for.
Finally, there are some battle scenes and most importantly we see Supreme Leader Snoke in the flesh. He is heard saying the words "Fulfil your destiny' which could be meant for Kylo but there is also a scene where we can see Rey screaming in pain with Snoke force gripping her. This means that Rey will indeed get to confront Snoke. In the end, Rey is seen saying, "I need someone, to show me my place in all of this" cutting to a scene where Kylo extends his hand.
