xiomi announces an alarm clock with built in speaker!!!

Xiaomi recently announced the Mi Air Purifier 2 and the new 10,000mAH USB Type-C based power bank in India. Back in its hometown, the company has announced yet another product called the Mi Music Alarm Clock priced at 199 Yuan (Rs 2,000 approx). Sounds a lot for an alarm clock, but it does offer a few tricks.

Xiaomi’s Mi Music Alarm Clock can wake you up and even make you go to sleep with soothing music. The company has used quite a bit of jargon to make it an attractive seller. According to Xiaomi, the product features a Tesla-level cell system and a symmetric passive bass vibration absorber design reduces rattling and vibrations when playing music on high volume. Interesting?

It has plastic body, a fabric covered speaker and digital LED lights and dots to display the time. For hours, it has 12 digital LED lights and for minutes, it has 12 LED dots. There is large button on top of course to shut off the alarm clock and more buttons for settings and adjusting the volume.

The Mi Music Alarm clock comes with audio features like Dynamic Loudness Control, Virtual Dual Tone Road, Dynamic Range Control and Low distortion circuit. The Dynamic Loudness Control feature tweaks the audio as per the subjective quality by conforming to a loud whisper to ensure better sound. The Virtual Dual Tone feature works with the signal being divided into low and high frequency which allows two-way independent control and also fits different equalizers. The Dynamic Range Control gives the freedom to switch between high and low range and also adjust the bass level. The Mi Music Alarm clock also comes with a low distortion circuit which consumes low power supply which further allows the alarm clock reduce distortion at high volume. According to the company, with its audio features, the Mi Music Alarm Clock will help you in sleeping and waking up.

It will work in conjunction with the Mi App through which one can set alarm times and also choose their preferred tone. One can also select a tone from their smartphone by pairing it via Bluetooth.

Apart from Bluetooth 4.1 support, it comes with a 2,600mAh battery which can give 8 eight hours of music playback if charged for two hours. If it is used as a normal alarm clock, then it can give a standby time of up to 360 hours after a single full charge.
