It seems Huawei is pretty damn serious about entering the smartphone market in India. At an event in New Delhi, Huawei launched three phones,Honor 8, Honor 8 Smart and Honor Holly 3. The Honor 8 is priced at Rs 29,999 while the Honor 8 Smart costs Rs 19,999 and the Holly 3 comes for Rs 9,999. The Honor Holly 3 also happens to be the first 'Make in India' smartphone for the Chinese manufacturer. The Honor 8 Smart is the mid-range variant of the flagship Honor 8. While the Honor 8 comes with a dual-camera set up, the Honor 8 smart has only one. The camera on the Honor 8 smart is a 13-megapixel shooter that uses Sony's IMX2214 camera sensor to capture images. Huawei claims the camera on the Honor 8 Smart can capture clarity-rich photos even at low light as well as in high light sensitivity. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. The Honor 8 Smart sports a 5.2-inch full HD display and runs on Kirin 650 processor. It features a 3,000mAh battery that can last the phone more than a day. The Holly 3 on the other hand is manufactured in India under the 'Make in India' initiative. The Honor Holly 3 houses a 5.5-inch 720p screen with Sun Screen Display that makes the screen visible even under harsh sunlight. Under the hood, there's a 1.2GHz Octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on board storage. The Honor Holly 3 also features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 8-megapixel front camera and comes powered by a 3,100 mAh battery. Both phones run on the Emotion UI 4.1, which is Huawei's standard UI for its phones. Both the Honor 8 Smart and Honor Holly 3 are available in three colors- black, white and gold.
