Twitter has rolled out a feature called Moments that will allow users to compile multiple tweets around a topic of interest into a collection. Users can use multiple tweets with various kinds of media, from their own or other accounts to present a story. These can include text tweets, photos, GIF animations, vines, videos or audio from SoundCloud. The feature is similar to the Stories feature on Instagram. Moments had been previously available to some selected accounts including influences, Twitter partners and brands.

4,146Users can give the collection of tweets a title and a description. There is an option to set a cover photo for the Moment. Even if users are not following accounts, tweets from those accounts can still be used in a Moment. Once Tweets are collected into a Moment, they can be published, which shows up as a tweet in your timeline. The feature is not available in India yet, but is in the process of a worldwide roll out. A Moments button should appear in the top menu on the profile page, next to Lists.
