MyJio app, the app mandatory for users while using Reliance Jio VoLTE services on their smartphones has crosses 10 million downloads on Google Play store as reported by Financial Express. According to the numbers indicated in the app description on the download page in Google Play store and the current top apps rankings, MyJio app gives a hint at how popular the service is among the users.
MyJio app is essential to use all the services being offered by Jio ecosystem. This extends from using the app and services ecosystem provided by Reliance Jio to checking and managing your Jio account. One thing to note is that the number signifies app downloads since the app was first launched without any effect on the users who uninstalled or installed the app through APK available in online forums or third party app stores.
The 10 million download number does not even take into account the number of app installs or downloads on iOS devices. The inaccuracy and guesstimate steam from the lack of any official stats provided by Google. In fact, Apple does not even provide a rough range of the number of users who have installed the app.
Instead of general users, these numbers are available for developers developing both iOS as well as Android apps. However, according to Priori Data, Android version has been downloaded 14.3 million times at the time of writing while the app downloads on iOS have reached 870.9k.
