Public service announcement: If you are done with Stranger Things, but not yet done with your voracious appetite for binge watching episodes,Marvel's Luke Cage is hitting Netflix this Friday!
Followed up by Daredevil and Jessica Jones, Luke Cage is the third installment in the establishment of Marvel's Defenders series.
In Spring 2017, the next installment Iron Fist will be released, and then finally The Defenders miniseries will see the light of day.
The series premiers globally on Friday, September 30th and viewers in India will get to join the world in catching the episodes.
Man with a dirty past, Luke Cage played by Mike Colter is bulletproof and has super strength. A sabotaged experiment leaves him with the only option of becoming a fugitive in modern day Harlem, until he is pulled out of the shadows by a Harlem police detective (played by Simon Missick) and help him confront his past.
Luke Cage is also overseen by Marvel's Head of Television Jeph Loeb.
Mike Colter is joined by Mahershala Ali (playing Cornell "Cottonmouth" Stokes), Alfre Woodward (playing Mariah Dillard), Theo Rossie (Playing Shades), Frank Whaley (Playing Rafael Scarfe) and Rosario Dawson (playing Claire Temple).
