LG announced a brand new curved 38-inch ultra-wide monitor upon the world, the largest of its kind; it’s one of three new ultra-wide 21:9 models is showing off at IFA in Berlin. The other two models in LG’s lineup are 34-inch ultra-wide, one of which comes packing Google Cast support.
The 38-inch model supports 4K video quality, a USB-C port, and two Bluetooth speakers built-in. Sounds like your next monitor, right? Only if you don’t mind spending the $1,499 when it launches in September.
The 34-inch model with Google Cast support is less expensive at $699, but it doesn’t sport a curved screen, instead going with a traditional flat panel. Meanwhile, the 34-inch curved model is the cheapest of the bunch, coming in at $599. LG says the 34-inch curved model is aimed at gamers, with features such as a “crosshair option” for improved accuracy during FPS games.
