There are very few video games that are able to leave such an impact on gamers that their very mention can bring back memories from several years ago. Rockstar Games' popular open-world action adventure title Bully, which was originally released on Playstation 2 in 2006, belongs to this very category. Much to the delight of gamers around the world, Rockstar has now brought the mobile version of the game to both Android and iOS.
Bully: Anniversary Edition, which is available for download on both Google Play and App Store already, comes with the content and story from Bully: Scholarship Edition plus added support for high-resolution displays, enhanced graphics, and improved lighting and textures. It can be purchased at Rs. 420 in India.
"As mischievous 15-year-old Jimmy Hopkins you'll navigate the social hierarchy of the corrupt and crumbling prep school, Bullworth Academy. Stand up to bullies, get picked on by teachers, beat the jocks at dodge ball, play pranks, win or lose the girl and survive a year in the worst school around," the company says in the game's description on Google Play.
The mobile version of Bully comes with turn based multiplayer 'Friend Challenges' and apart from the usual touch controls, provides contextual buttons when required. Users will be able to save their game progress on cloud with Rockstar Games Social Club and continue playing on device of their choice. Users on iPhone 6s and newer models will be able to capture their gameplay as it comes with support for Replay Kit.
Bully: Anniversary Edition further comes with support for physical controller. Rockstar Games was able to develop the mobile version of the game in conjunction with War Drum Studios.
It seems perfect time of the year to get on-board the nostalgia train but do keep in mind that the game has comes with a hefty download size of around 2.4GB.
