Amazon India has launched its “Global Store” in India, formally, just ahead of Diwali. Although the “Global Store” section was already available on Amazon India, the formal launch announcement happened yesterday. The launch of the global store solves major hurdles around customs clearance and availability of shipping in India. On its part, Amazon purchases and clears customs to make way for a hassle-free shipment to your home.
In addition to clearing customs, Amazon enables a much faster international shipping at a much-discounted price through the global store. This end-to-end service including a considerably accurate tracking status of products to users is a far cry from other services, which do not take liability for the speed of shipping products like Alibaba or eBay.
We compiled a bunch of products that are not available on the Amazon India Store and can only be purchased using the Amazon Global Store.

The Amazon Global service allows secure international returns, even though terms and conditions around availability or return, refund and replacement vary across geographies and markets. The current catalogue is small and not as vast as the main Amazon India shipping catalogue.
