There's some great piece of news all the way from Eternia, the magical, mystical planet where He-Man, along with the masters of the universe ward off Skeletor in his persistent attempts to capture the mysterious Castle Grayskull.
The macho warrior is making a comeback this year at San Diego's Comic-Con, with a full feature episode.
Titled "The Curse Of The Three Terrors", the episode is made by retro specialists Super7 and shows the evil Skeletor up to what he does best. There's no shot of Prince Adam (aka He-Man) in the trailer.
The episode will mark the return of the most powerful man in the universe, ever since He-Man and the Masters of the Universe was broadcaster in the 80s.
The new episode will premier with a public screening on Wednesday, July 20th in the San Diego Comic Con.
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe first premiered on television in 1983, and had a run for two seasons of 65 episodes each.
He-Man made history for pushing the boundaries of censorship which had restricted the narrative structures children's cartoon shows in the 1970s. For the first time, a muscular man could beat-up people on screen.
He-man was first brought by Mattel, the brains behind the Hot Wheels cars, in 1982, and then a year later a backstory was developed for the action-figures, which became the popular TV show.
To chase and re-create the popularity, Mattel attempted to relaunch the action figures with a short-lived sequel The New Adventures of He-Man in the early 90s, followed by a rather horrible live-action movie in 2002.
