If you remember Lenovo launched the rebranded ZUK Z2 as the Z2 Plus in India last week. The handset is suppose to go on sale tonight at midnight and the company has just announced a variety of offers coming with the smartphone. As a part of the launch, Lenovo has announced that the offers will be available for customers buying the new smartphone till 3 October. The offers include Rs 15,000 Yatra eCash from Yatra.com on the app, 80% off on Kindle eBooks up to a maximum of Rs 500 on the Kindle app, 5 percent cashback if you buy using an HDFC credit or debit card and a discounted price of Rs 999 for the Chrono case as opposed to the original price of Rs 1,299. Buyers who are buying the smartphone from the Amazon app also get a chance to win 100 percent cash-back (valid only for the first sale on 27 September). The Lenovo Z2 Plus comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC paired with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of storage. The devices boasts of a 5-inch, FHD display made by Sharp and comes with dual-SIM support (nano-SIMs) in a 4G+3G configuration, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The phone apparently runs a close-to-stock version of Android 6.0 with Google Now. There is a U-Touch 2 fingerprint sensor which doubles as a home button and supports gestures via the fingerprint scanner as well. The rear camera is a 13MP, f/2.2 unit with a 1.34 micron pixel sensor. The front camera is an 8MP unit. Also included is a U-Health app which is functionally similar to Apple’s Health app. Lenovo claims to have worked hard on the app to ensure that it consumes as little power as possible while harvesting as much health-related information as possible from you. The app will track steps, running, distance covered and other such information. The 3GB model with 32GB storage is priced at Rs 17,999 and the 4GB variant with 64GB storage is priced at Rs 19,999
